This 32-year old patient from San Diego, California was self-conscious of his chest due to excess unwanted breast tissue. He consulted with Dr. Pousti regarding male breast reduction surgery, to improve his gynecomastia.

After meeting with Dr. Pousti, the patient decided to proceed with  gynecomastia surgery. He felt comfortable with Dr. Pousti’s experience in liposuction for men. Markings were performed showing the areas of excess adipose tissue that needs to be removed.

In the operating room, Dr. Pousti and his staff take their time to remove equal amounts of adipose tissue from the chest and breasts bilaterally to make the chest symmetrical.

There is a significant improvement of the chest area with the removal of the excess tissue. The chest is now flatter giving him more confidence. The patient is required to wear a compression garment for 4 weeks to help minimize the swelling. Fincal results will be seen at 4-6 months.
